Crybaby Productions X Future Women
We live in an age where female empowerment has never been stronger. Women are shattering glass ceilings and busting down doors with fearless determination and professional poise. And they are thriving!
But as the number of women in business continues to grow, so does the need for support systems and a united sisterhood. That’s where online platform and magazine brand, Future Women, comes into the equation. CEO and founder, Helen McCabe, created the company in 2017 as a medium to connect and motivate working women. Since then, Future Women has helped nurture the personal and professional success of its members. One way the company has achieved this is through the highly popular ‘Ask Me Anything’ feature – which Crybaby Productions was privileged enough to be a part of.
Future Women recently invited us to host their weekly ‘Ask Me Anything’ discussion and answer any questions our fellow members had. Considering Crybaby’s expertise in publishing, video content, stills photography, brand campaigns and digital congtent, most questions were tailored towards these areas. Our post received strong engagement and we were eager to offer our advice and wisdom to aspiring women in media. Questions directed towards building and running a business popped up repeatedly. We were also asked on how to kickstart a career and get a pedicured foot in the door, so to speak.
“Continue learning, keep current and lose the ego because things are changing all the time so you’re never going to be an expert.”
– Clare Alstin, Creative Director at Crybaby Productions
Overall, the segment was super successful, and we responded to each question fired our way and hopefully helped those FW members. It was an incredibly rewarding experience, being able to provide insight and encouragement to our female colleagues. The ethos of Future Women is something we strive to endorse at Crybaby, and we will continue to show our support for working women all over Australia.
